Kathryn Anna Dolk Pupuhi
April 5, 1984 - September 24, 2020

Born in Salt Lake City, Utah; raised in the North Valley of Albuquerque, NM; and known by family and friends as Katy, she was a free spirit despite being burdened throughout adult life with serious physical pain resulting from a genetic condition. Katy passed peacefully. She was 36 years young.

Katy cared deeply about others and took great pleasure in being of support to those in need. She is now free to soar with her band of angels, carrying on her good works. Music was her passion, from producing, promoting, and rapping to taking pure pleasure in listening. She also loved to surf, and she found water whether it was the Pacific Ocean, off the coast of Northern California and in her husband's home state of Hawaii, or the hot baths and streams of Jemez Springs, to be of great comfort.

Katy and her daughter Kianna together were spiritually blessed in serving Ammas Ashram in San Ramon, California. Her sister-in-spirit, Staci Shankari, was a source of great love and support. She also derived comfort from the teachings of Eckhart Tolle and Mooji.

Katy was fearless in seeking adventure and freedom, only concerned as to whether or not pain would follow her. Now free from her body, free from pain, her soul moves on. She will be dearly missed by those of us who were blessed to have crossed paths with her. We mourn and grieve our loss.

Katy was a proud Momma to son Cyrus Young, 18, and daughter Kianna Lokelani, 7. She is also survived by her husband, Kanamu Pupuhi, her parents, Rol and Sarah Dolk; a sister, Sally Dolk; close nephews Max, Zachery and Oliver; Aunt Abbey Wells; and many more aunts, uncles, cousins and her sisters from Jamaica.

You are loved so very much Kathryn Anna. Your goodness, beauty and light live on within us always and forever. Bless you, dear one.
